  • I never do these, but this 5-minute theological quickie breakdown seemed worth looking at. The results? Not particularly surprising (but that's a good thing - right?). I'm outrageously Holiness/Wesleyan, with a lot of Fundamentalist, Neo-Orthodox, and (perhaps surprising to many, what with the Wesleyan emphasis) Reformed Evangelical. Moderate on Roman-Catholic, with low scores for Emergent/Postmodern, Classical Liberal, and Pentecostal, with an incredibly low score on Modern Liberal Christianity. But most important of all, simple math says that I am 460% Christian!

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan, You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

  • A few things that I've enjoyed the past week or so, and that I hope you enjoy, too.

Oh, yeah, those Brits had better be scared of us and our RoboSoldiers!

Who knew that hurting penguins could actually be fun????

If anbody's behind on Arrested Development season 1, there's no excuse now.  I wonder why I didn't get much work done the past couple weeks.....?

An old post, but a classic, courtesy of USS Mariner, about the greatest game ever played.  Make sure you have a lot of time when you want to read this, but it is DEFINITELY worth it, and yes, I will be disappointed if you ignore this link.

Suddenly I feel so much better.

Of all the strategies to motivate your sports team, this just might be the strangest ever.  I doubt it worked.

Holy Cow.  The Sports Guy is right.  This ad gives me chills every. time. I. watch. it.  We miss you, MJ.

I'm not sure whether I should feel good that I'm not so big a loser as to have done this, or if I should feel incredibly lame because I'm really jealous.

Jerry's got nothing on this little rodent.

Great.  Another thing to feel guilty about.  Oh well, I never liked bees anyway.
